Hello and welcome to The Old Orchard Garden blog! Here you’ll find all our ramblings from the kitchen garden, recipes full with homegrown goodness, videos containing advice and some handy tips as well as lot’s of inspiration.

But first, let me introduce you all to the garden… We moved to this little 1 acre plot of land during the Summer of 2022 with some big ideas. We were told it used to be an old orchard garden but unfortunately only 4 of the trees remained. However, we’ll be adding some more fruit trees to create a smaller orchard area where the chickens and beehives will live. They’ll be a polytunnel area with a fruit cage to the side, some large herbacous flower borders and not forgetting the kitchen garden! Of course this is all going to take some time but we’re very excited to take you all on the journey with us.
