We only dispatch orders to the UK and do not ship internationally (please see UK zone surcharges below).

All orders will be dispatched via Evri or Parcelforce. Our delivery charges cover packaging materials, processing, packing and delivering your parcels. We try to use as much recycled packaging as possible.

We try to dispatch all items within 2 days on weekdays, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Due to our premises being so rural sometimes the courier will miss a collection day. If a delay occurs you will be notified immediately. You will be given the option to arrange a convenient delivery date or to cancel the order with a full refund.

We will try and combine delivery when multiple items have been purchased but unfortunately this can’t always be done due the size limitations put in place by Evri and Parcelforce. For example, long items can usually be sent together and wide items can usually be combined but galvanized tubs etc of different sizes that do not fit inside each other may have to be sent individually. There are many different combinations that are not possible to combine, please feel free to contact us to make sure we can send the entirety of your order out with a combined postage discount. If you do purchase items which are not compatible for posting we will contact you.

Evri deliveries can take up to five days. Parcelforce deliveries are usually delivered the next working day (or two days if large) and are signed-for services, so need to be delivered to an address where someone will be in during the day. We are happy to send the package to a work address, neighbour or relative. Parcelforce will text or email with delivery details on the day of delivery. If you miss the delivery you can enter your details online or by telephone and make alternative arrangements for delivery.

As with all couriers, they will make two attempts at delivery, hold the package at their local depot for three days then return it to us. There will be a charge to return the package so please make sure you are able to take delivery.

Signing for Delivery -

When you are signing for a package you are signing that the delivery has been ‘received in good condition’. Once this is signed transit cover is then deemed void. If the parcels packaging is damaged on delivery please mark ‘damaged’ on the delivery note. Please be aware that packages marked ‘unchecked’ will not be accepted for a damage claim. If the damage is extensive please refuse the delivery and the courier will return the item to us.

UK Zone Surcharges -

The following Postcodes incur additional Evri delivery charges, if you would like the item delivered to an address in one of the areas below please contact us and we will give you a revised cost of sending the item. Unfortunately we can’t send items by Parcelforce to any of these zones due to the high increase in cost.

All destinations outside the UK mainland

Zone 2: The Highlands and Islands of Scotland – postcodes AB31, 33-38, 45, 52-56. FK17-21. HS1-9 IV1-3, IV10-28, 30-32, 36, 40-56. KA27 and 28, KW1-3 and 5-14, KW15-17. PA20-49, PA60-80, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE.

Zone 3: Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly – postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25.

Saturday and Isle of Wight (PO30-41) deliveries are also subject to a surcharge

We do not ship to the Channel Islands as they are classed as an international destination

Heavy or Bulky items -

For very heavy or bulky items which are too big to be sent out we are able to personally deliver within an 80 mile radius from Montgomery at £2.00 a mile. Please email us for a delivery cost if you wish to use our service as we may be able to reduce the charge if we are making additional deliveries to the same area.
Alternatively, we can try to arrange a national courier service at very competitive rates please call for more information.

Online orders:

We are currently extremely busy exhibiting at the RHS Tatton Park and have therefore decided to close all metal work orders from the website for the time being to give us time to make stock for the shows.
